** Entries closed as at midnight 09.11.2023 with no more changes accepted **<\/p>\r\n

First official call for first events are at 8.00am with events starting at 8.15am.<\/span>\u00a0 (<\/strong><\/span>Tiny Tots are entered into all events and compete on Saturday 16th ONLY from 8am and taken by Manager)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Please be there on time to listen for your child\u2019s event. There will be a first and second and final call from the ground announcer where your child will be told to proceed to marshalling.<\/span> Track events go to the marshalling tent near the tiny tots area and field events go straight to the event, unless told otherwise.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

This weekend will be run under official conditions so it is the first opportunity to set some records.<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

Parents, grandparents, family and friends can come down to the field, prop up a shade or tent and enjoy the day while athletes compete.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/div>\r\n

Please note:<\/u><\/b><\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents must not be within the round track area and must also be outside of the throwing areas, this creates the competition atmosphere that the kids will get at future Zone Championships events.<\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parents cannot enter the area to coach their kids as soon as competition commences.<\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Please listen for the announcement of your child\u2019s event. There will be a\u00a0first call\u00a0<\/strong>and a\u00a0second and final call. It is up to the parent and \/ or child throughout the weekend, as this is not a Manager run event <\/strong>(excluding Tiny Tots)<\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Medals for field events will be handed to 1st, 2nd & 3rd at the conclusion of their event once finalised.<\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Medals for track events will not be handed out until all heats and finals have been run for that event \/ age group and all times are entered and finalised in Results HQ. Please be patient while this process is taking place. All athletes will receive their medals.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 TAKE YOUR PICTURE like a true champion on our podium with your medals at the clubhouse for lasting memories!<\/p>\r\n

We need your help with the following<\/u><\/b><\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parent helpers are expected to assist officials in running of events when called upon.<\/p>\r\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Parent helpers are also needed each morning to assist in setting up for the\u00a0day<\/span>.<\/p>\r\n

Medal<\/span>\u00a0day<\/span>\u00a0champion<\/span> is awarded at end of year presentation and determined by\u00a0Medal<\/span>\u00a0Day<\/span>\u00a0results. The winner must achieve a gold\u00a0Medal<\/span>\u00a0in a Run, Jump and Throw. NSW State Multi points are used to calculate overall points. The child with the highest score is the winner unless they are a winner of another major award. For more information please visit the Centre Competition and Rules page on our club website.<\/p>\r\n

The Starr Partners Medal Day is an annual two day event and our first major club championship on the season calendar. It is a private club competition where athletes compete for medal placings. Each event is managed by certified officials for that event type. It is also one of the rare opportunities for athletes to officially break club records. Club records can be found here<\/a>. Under 17s compete for Under 17s Medal Day Champion which is presented at Club Presentation at the end of the season.<\/p>\r\n

No entry fee is required as this weekend forms part of your registration.<\/p>\r\n
